From Åstorp at the foot of the Söderåsen ridge to Brösarp in Österlen. Walkers pass impressive ravines, magnificent National Park landscapes and recreational areas with much to explore.
The Ridge to Ridge trail is 162 km long and divided into 14 sections. About 40 km of this passes through Söderåsen, starting at Åstorp and finishing in Röstånga (the second entry point to Söderåsen National Park). The trail then continues from Röstånga across Jällabjär Nature Reserve (the remains of an old volcano, 124 metres above sea level) and on towards Frostavallen and Höör, finishing at Brösarp in Österlen. Printed maps on water-resistant paper can be purchased at Skåne tourist offices and in well-stocked bookshops. You can also order them online on the Skåneleden website. Simple campsites with wind shelters, water and toilets are available along the trail. Alternative accommodation such as youth hostels and B&Bs can often also be found close to the trail. The Skåneleden trail is signposted with orange-coloured waymarkers.
